A Message from Chewy
I’m excited about the The Chewjitsu Open Seminars!
This is a unique chance for me to connect with many of you who have watched the YouTube videos, seen the Instagram videos and bought instructional courses. Learning virtually is great, but there is something more powerful about learning in person that can’t be replicated. The ability to feel pressure and connection and to get exact corrections from the teacher as you’re experimenting with the technique and position are invaluable.
These seminars will be workshop style and focused on a very specific area of BJJ. Instead of me blasting you with dozens of techniques, the workshop will include a blend of technical information along with situational drilling and rolling.
The goal of these training sessions will be to give you a new technique or position that you can use in your next rolling session when you go back to your home gym. We’ll make this happen by dialing in our focus on a specific area of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and actively working on it.
The techniques and positions are selected from my most effective areas in BJJ. Everything taught during the seminar has been successfully used at a high level. Also, everything taught at the seminars has been taught to many of my students back home, so you can rest assured that these techniques will work for you.
My hope is that you’ll be able to attend another Chewjitsu Open Seminar and tell me about how you used what you learned before in competition or hard rolls in your gym.
Lastly, at the end of the seminar we’ll have time for Question & Answer. During the Q&A session you can ask anything you’d like. Consider this like a live version of the videos you watch on YouTube, so feel free to ask anything.
I look forward to seeing you at my next Chewjitsu Open Seminar!
